Les oeuvres de la série «Écran» sont réalisées à partir d’imprimés du quotidien - cahiers de papier à dessin, revues d’art Artforum, affiches, mangas, cahiers à colorier, annuaires Pages jaunes et cartes routières - que l'artiste transforme en bandelettes qu'il superpose et entrelace afin de créer des compositions graphiques. Cette oeuvre est un clin d’œil à l'exposition solo du même nom, qui s'est tenue en 2007 au Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal.

The works in the “Écran” series are made from everyday printed materials—drawing pads, Artforum art magazines, posters, manga, coloring books, Yellow Pages directories, and road maps—which the artist transforms into strips that he layers and interlaces to create graphic compositions. This work is a nod to the solo exhibition of the same name, held in 2007 at the Montreal Museum of Contemporary Art.
