Congratulations to the Musée de la Côte-Nord for the acquisition of a work from Ludovic Boney’s “Mémoires ennoyées” series, thanks to the generosity of Mr. Danny Pagé.

The Museum’s director, Mélissa Lacroix, noted that this event marked a significant moment for their permanent collection and for the region: the work of Ludovic Boney, an artist from Wendake whose practice combines Indigenous heritage and contemporary formal exploration, confronts us with a memory buried beneath the waters—that of the landscape of Lake Manicouagan, submerged since the construction of the Daniel-Johnson Dam in 1969.

Thank you also to the Chair of the Board of Directors, Gaëtan Talbot, and the Mayor of Sept-Îles, Benoît Méthot , for their participation!
