Le McMichael et Remai Modern sont fiers de présenter une exposition solo d'une remarquable artiste canadienne dont les œuvres photographiques pionnières à grande échelle reflètent son ascendance mixte cri/métis des Plaines, néerlandaise et britannique. Cette exposition jette un regard rétrospectif sur les réalisations passées de McMaster et nous met au courant de ses explorations actuelles des histoires familiales, en particulier celles de ses ancêtres féminins cris des plaines de la nation crie Red Pheasant, dans l'actuelle Saskatchewan.

The McMichael and Remai Modern are proud to present a survey exhibition of a remarkable Canadian artist whose pioneering large-scale photographic works reflect her mixed Plains Cree/Métis, Dutch and British ancestry. This exhibition looks back to McMaster's past accomplishments and bring us up to date on her current explorations of family histories, in particular those of her Plains Cree female forebears from the Red Pheasant Cree Nation in present day Saskatchewan.
