[English follows] "Garden: The Dragon and the Griffon" de Ed Pien date de son installation majeure "Earthly Delights : the Garden and the Fountain of Youth" présentée à la Biennale de Montréal de 2002 et dans la collection permanente du Musée des beaux-arts de Montréal. Ses créatures monstrueuses font allusion à nos peurs et à nos désirs et représentent diverses formes de perturbation et de transgression sociales.

Ed Pien’s "Garden: The Dragon and the Griffon" dates from his major installation "Earthly Delights: the Garden and the Fountain of Youth" presented at the Biennale de Montréal of 2002 and in the permanent collection of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. His monstrous creatures allude to our fears and desires, as well as represent forms of social disruption and transgression.
