- JLC
"My Dad’s last project was repairing our old muskoka chair. I found him working on it one day and gave him a hand. He had made a new arm for it and was trying to attach it to the body. I had a closer look and pointed out to him that the wood had all rotted where he was trying to make the connection and that it was in really bad shape and I didn’t think it was worth trying to patch up. He was on his last round of chemo and I remember regretting the words as they left my mouth. He laughed and said I was probably right, and went back to work. Our chair is holding up great and I’m looking forward to spending some time in it soon." - JLC
