"I started the series "Lueur" at the beginning of January 2026, while keeping an eye on the ongoing protests in the streets of Iran. This drawing was made before the massacre of January 8 and 9, at a time when the Internet had not yet been cut off and we still had access to the peaceful marches of Iranians. The yellow patches and the flowing lines in the drawing reflect the glimmer of hope that had just begun to emerge within me." - LZ
