"Cette femme avait tué la forte épouse de cet homme pour pouvoir le prendre pour son propre mari. La femme de l'homme pouvait porter le qajaq quand il arrivait, alors la femme a essayé de le faire et elle avait ses cheveux qui lui couvraient le visage pour pouvoir le cacher. L'homme est devenu méfiant parce que cette femme ne pouvait pas soulever le qajaq, et la femme avait enlevé l'équipement du qajaq et avait un endroit spécial pour eux. Son nom était Kukkilik Atsaujaarjuk".

“This woman had killed this man’s strong wife so that she could get the man for her own husband. The man’s wife could carry the qajaq when he arrived, so the woman tried doing that and she had her hair covering her face so she could hide it. The man became suspicious because this woman could not lift the qajaq, and wife had removed the equipment from the qajaq and had a special place for them. His name was Kukkilik Atsaujaarjuk.”
