Autre(s) nom(s) : French Plait (Pli français ?)" - Stephane Alexis

-

Despite the name, these braids didn’t originate from France. In fact, they are not French at all. This style originated from Northern Africa almost 6,000 years ago! The first evidence of this style was discovered as a part of rock art in the Tassili n'Ajjer, a mountain range in Algeria. There are a variety of methods that can be used to create this style, however, most are based
on weaving three strands of hair together.
Other name(s): French Plait" - Stephane Alexis
