Dil Hildebrand travaille présentement sur ses nouvelles oeuvres à voir à la galerie au printemps 2022!
L'artiste est né en 1974 à Winnipeg, Canada. Il est titulaire depuis 2008 d'une maîtrise en beaux-arts de l'Université Concordia. En 2006, il a remporté le grand prix du Concours de peintures canadiennes RBC, et a depuis participé à plusieurs expositions au Canada, aux États-Unis et à l'étranger notamment la 4e Biennale internationale d'art de Pékin (2010), "Back to the Drawing Board" at YYZ Toronto (2011), la Biennale canadienne du Musée des beaux-arts du Canada (2012), "Re-configuring Abstraction" at the Manitoba University School of Art Gallery (2013), "Le Projet Peinture" à la Galerie de l'UQAM (2013), "Shape Shifters" à Herron Galleries University of Indiana (2013), "Young Canadian Painters" à Cambridge Galleries (2014), "La Beauté du geste" au Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal (2014) et "Land-reform(ed)" à la Galerie Ajagemô du Conseil des arts du Canada (2014). Ses oeuvres se retrouvent dans les collections permanentes du Musée des beaux-arts du Canada, du Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal, du Musée des beaux-arts de Montréal, de la Banque d'oeuvres d'art du Conseil des arts du Canada et de nombreuses collections corporatives dont celles de la Banque de Montréal, de la Banque Royale du Canada, de TD Canada Trust, d'Ernst and Young, de Bennett Jones LLP, d'Osler Hoskin & Harcourt LLP et de McCarthy Tétrault LLP. Dil Hildebrand vit et travaille à Montréal.

Dil Hildebrand is currently working on his new body of work that will be on view at the gallery in the Spring of 2022.
The artist is living and working in Montreal, Canada. Hildebrand’s work has been shown internationally in such venues as the the National Art Museum of China, Beijing (2010); the National Gallery of Canada, Ottawa (2012); Herron Galleries at University of Indiana, Indianapolis (2013); Choi&Lager Gallery, Cologne (2013); Union Gallery, London UK (2012&13); University of Manitoba School of Art Gallery, Winnipeg (2013); YYZ, Toronto (2011); Galerie de l’UQAM, Montreal (2013); Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal (2014); AUT University Gallery, Auckland NZ (2007); and Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art in Toronto (2006).
Hildebrand is an MFA graduate of Concordia University, Montreal and has been awarded a number of distinguished grants and awards including the International Residency at Acme Studios, London UK (2013); the Canada Council for the Arts (2010, 2014); the Banff Centre Thematic Residency (2009); Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (2009) and was winner of the RBC National Painting Competition (2006).
His work has been collected by major public institutions throughout Canada, including the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal, the National Gallery of Canada and the Art Bank of the Canada Council, as well as numerous private and corporate collections throughout Canada, the United States and Europe.
