An audio recording was made of a reading of selected words. The various wave forms (visual representations of sound) of the patterns of speech are the templates for each sandblasted glass panel. Audio peaks are sandblasted in deeper relief and represent higher volume. Each tablet contains the trace of a sound otherwise fleeting and invisible.
